| Exemptions | Employees in the managerial capacity are exempted. Employees in supervisory capacity and wages above Rs.2500 per month are exempted. |
Obstructs an Inspector in the exercise or fails to produce for inspection on demand by an Inspector any registers, records or other documents
(a) For first offence, with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 3 months, or with fine which may extend to Rs.500 or with both
(b) For second or subsequent offences, with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 6 months or with fine which may extend to Rs.1000 or with both
(a) Fails to pay any contribution or (b) Is guilty of any contravention of or non-compliance with any of the requirements
Punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 1 year or with fine which may extend to Rs.2000 or with both.
