A person shall be punished for the 1st offence with fine which may extend to Rs. 500 or with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 3 months and for the 2nd and subsequent offences, with fine which may extend to Rs. 1000 or with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 1 year or with both.
